KOSOMETSUKE had been knocking on the door with a trio of narrow runner-up effort in turf handicaps before a respectable sixth in deeper company at Southwell. The drop back to 6f should suit given the way he travels in his races so he could be the answer. Jesse Luc is in fine form, finishing a strong second recently despite being positioned further back than ideal but he has to prove he can do it on turf, so course-regular Dark Side Thunder is feared most.
