WYLD BILL had a dual subsequent scorer behind in second when opening his account at Newcastle back in June and, with his latest effort best overlooked on account of the conditions, it would come as no surprise to see him bounce back returned to all-weather. Recent C&D scorer Sense of Reason is likely to have plenty of supporters and he is a clear danger. Prince Hector can do best of the rest.

Finished runner-up at Ffos Las/Yarmouth prior to deservedly opening his account in 10-runner handicap at this C&D (13/2) 42 days ago, staying on to lead final 1f. Very much of interest again despite 5 lb higher mark.

Back on track with blinkers enlisted, impressing with how he travelled when off the mark at Newcastle (10.2f) in June. Had excuses on account of the ground when sixth of 7 in handicap at Ffos Las (10f, heavy) 9 days ago and no surprise to see him bounce back.

Won at Leicester in May but since disappointing, albeit doing too much too soon in a first-time visor (discarded here) when last of 7 in handicap (50/1) at Yarmouth (14.1f, firm) 43 days ago. Others preferred.

Won a 10f AW handicap in January. Seen only twice since, going off much too hard after 5 months off when sixth of 8 in handicap at Nottingham (10.2f, soft, 22/1) 49 days ago. Likely type to bounce back.

Lightly-raced maiden. Tongue strap on for 1st time, first run since leaving Marcus Tregoning when last of 9 in handicap at Lingfield (8f, AW, 100/1) 19 days ago, always behind. Up in trip. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Latest win at Wolverhampton in March. Third of 5 in handicap at Yarmouth (10.1f, good, 7/2) 25 days ago, very much having run of race. Makes polytrack debut. Should give another good account in present groove.

    Verdict
One win from 25 Flat runs. Respectable sixth of 12 in minor event at Lingfield (12f, AW, 20/1) 23 days ago, short of room under 3f out and unable to land a blow. No surprise to see a better showing but others preferred for win purposes.
