BONDI STAR (4) got the job done last start over 1600m at Northam most recently to break her maiden. She jumped the $1.75 favourite there and sat a touch closer which proved a winning move. This sets up similarly and if she can improve on that effort, she can go on with the job. STARTLING STAR (6) got over the top to score by 0.2L at this track and trip last week, scoring with no weight on her back. Amy Jo Hayes remains in the saddle with 3kgs coming off for her claim. May need some luck from the inside, but she's got stacks up upside and she can go back-to-back. MOONSHINE QUEEN (10) was too good last time out in a 3YO Maiden and steps up to the mile now. On the quick turnaround but has improvement up his sleeve and he can put his best foot forward again. CAPABLE ANGEL (5) is racing in good order and she can make her presence felt. WHAT'S THE POINT (3) was better last start and can feature with the rise in trip.
